Day 2 Leon happily drinking milk from his yellow straw bottle!!

I know it has been a long while since my last blog post...
In fact I have so much in my mind and been wanting to write for long especially many things happened over the last few months. But, I just resisted to blog in English coz my Chinese software has been down and I do not know how to resolve the problem as the same problem has been recurring.
Just wish to pen down Leon's little achievement today as he finally willing to drink his milk from straw bottle today!! In fact, I have been offering him milk in his straw bottle for a few times before but to no avail. Everytime I tried offered him milk in straw bottle, he screamed, walked away and keep mummbling "nen nen...nen nen" to me and just refused to drink milk from straw bottle till I switched back to his milk bottle.
Today, when I brought him the milk in straw bottle this morning he started to whine, so I hold him tight in my arm, which I normally don't do as he usually sits on sofa or lies on our bed and hold the milk bottle on his own (occasionally, he do leans on daddy's tummy) Then, I started to explain to him that it's milk inside the straw bottle and I tried holding the bottle for him too. To my surprise, he stopped crying after about 1 minute and started to take a sip from the bottle, then a few more sips, then he got the bottle from my hands, held the bottle on his own and finished almost 90 percent of the milk!! Yeah, I am really glad that he did it at his own will and without too much persuasion!
Think back, I still remembered clearly when he was around 4 months, I tried to introduce a sippy cup to him. He hated it and refused to drink from the sippy cup at all, so I switched back to his Pigeon Magmag cup with teat (a gift from auntie Claire) and he buys it. Then towards his 6th months, daddy bought him a bright yellow straw bottle and from there he started to drink from straw bottle. The switch from his Magmag cup to straw bottle is fast as he soons pick up the new technique to drink with straw. Initially, he didnt drink it well as he can't control the speed of sucking. As time goes by, he learns how to control the flow though he still get choked at times whenever he drinks too fast ;) I love the term "practice makes perfect" as it really works well for kids.
Hopefully he can adapt well to the change and totally wean off from his milk bottle.
P.S: Blogger seems to be having some problems?? I am having problem to post pictures!!!! When I click on the icon, it save my blog but do nothing and no pop up window for photo insertion!! Anyone experienced the same??
